There is nothing really spectacular about Nebraska's highest point. No mountain peaks or areas that require any climbing. In fact, you can drive right up to the location with your car. The location is in the extreme southwest corner of the Nebraska Panhandle where the states of Colorado and Wyoming meet Nebraska. Currently there is a $3 per person entrance fee which is on the honor system. The marker is on private property, but access is not restricted. Despite the insignificant location, it is still higher than the mile-high city of Denver.
