One of the Permanent Bench Marks that was placed along the railroad between St. Joseph, Missouri, and Sioux City, Iowa, in 1892. This bench mark is located approximately 3 miles north of Watson, Missouri, along the east side of the BNSF Railroad and between the railroad and a graveled county road. Recovered by Gene Thomsen and Jerry Penry.
