One of the earliest examples of a cast aluminum bench mark established by USGS. It was set vertically into the steps of the U. S. Post Office which is now a bank.

The red circle shows the location of the bench mark.

This bench mark was set in 1905 and was based upon the 1903 adjustment.

An early view of the post office building.
