This bench mark is located at Hermosa, South Dakota along the west side of the raiklroad and south of Highway 40. It is a bronze cap on an iron pipe. The cap is now above even with the surface of the ground. Recovered by Kurt Luebke, Jenny Stukel Penry, and Jerry Penry.

Looking east-southeast toward old railroad water tank supports.

The "TT" was added later whren the bench mark was used for a Transit Traverse station.
