This bench mark was once located near the crossing of two railroads which are both long gone. It is approx. 3 miles south of Lead, South Dakota, or about 0.7 mile north of an old railroad location known as Englewood.
The bench mark on the rock as indicated by the red arrow.

The pickup is on the grade of the railroad running north-south near the location of the one going over it.
The stone wall at the left is the west abutment for the railroad crossing overhead.
