This bench mark is located in the north part of Chadron, Nebraska along the east side of Main Street at the south side of the railroad in a small fenced off park. Thre original description stated that this was near the American Express Company office.
Looking to the northwest. Main Street runs north-south across the tracks.

Top view of the 1901 limestone post. The surface has become very weathered and nearly unreadable.
