Primary Traverse Station No. 15(1913) is located 2.5 miles south and 1 mile east of Stella, Nebraska, along the south side of a county road and east of the Union Pacific Railroad crossing. Recovered by Jerry & Jenny Penry and Gene Thomsen.
Looking west-northwest. The disturbed soil at the bottom of the photo is the location of the buried monument.

The monument in relationship to the fences. Notice to the left of the monument is the top of an old woven wire fence which indicated this area has silted in quite a bit during the last century.
