Primary Traverse Station No. 5 (1915) is located 3 miles west of Humboldt in the northwest corner of a county road intersection at the SE Corner of Section 1, T2N, R12E. Recovered by Gene Thomsen and Jerry Penry. The monument was re-tilted to a true vertical position and tamped in place without compromising the elevation.
